Mark Hepworth

Mark is a Director of Lupton Fawcett Denison Till. He works in the York office and has practised as a solicitor in York for over 30 years, recently as Senior Partner of Denison Till before the merger with Lupton Fawcett Lee & Priestley. He is accredited as a specialist practitioner by Resolution, the influential association of family law solicitors. His specialist areas of practice are advocacy in financial remedy proceedings (frequently involving family businesses and high net worth clients) and cohabitation disputes. In addition to these two areas, he also undertakes the conduct of proceedings involving children in the Family Court. Mark acts on behalf of a diverse variety of clients ranging from land/business owners and their spouses to those who need protection in abusive relationships. When not at work Being, sadly, too old for participation in local cricket and hockey leagues, Mark limits himself to offering well chosen words of advice from the boundary edge. He continues to play golf to a poor standard but hopes that, now that all the children have become independent, he will be able to reverse the ageing process and reduce his handicap from its present (embarrassingly high) level. Mark is a former Governor of St Peter's School in York and is an active member of the company of Merchant Adventurers.
