Daniel also advises corporates on internal investigations and bringing private prosecutions in the criminal courts. In addition, Daniel has significant experience in defending asset recovery and confiscation proceedings under the Proceeds of Crime Act (POCA), which typically follow convictions for lifestyle offences. Regulatory Daniel also undertakes a range of regulatory work such as defending regulatory prosecutions, investigations and appeals, as well as assisting clients in defending civil fraud claims and in quasi-criminal proceedings.
