Sandra Bradley

A specialist in the law relating to children, I qualified as a solicitor in 1982. I joined Bretherton Law in 1986, becoming a partner in 1989 and sole owner and Principal in 2004. As a long term member of the Law Society’s specialist Children Panel, I often represent children in complex court proceedings in all levels of the court system. My firm offers Legal Aid where available. Most of my work involves cases where the Local Authority has concerns about child welfare or abuse and I frequently represent in court, children who have been subjected to serious abuse or neglect. I handle adoption and Special Guardianship applications. I also act for parents and other relatives. My clients say that I listen to them, and help to guide them through difficult times with sensitivity and compassion. I am on their side. I am a member of the Association of Lawyers for Children, Resolution, NAGALRO and the Local Family Justice Board.
