Alastair Swain

ALFA Solicitors was set up in 2013 by David Alastair Swain as a sole practitioner law firm. Alastair Swain has worked in the legal profession since 2005 and was admitted as a solicitor in 2009. Alastair has worked in law firms in Winsford and Altrincham. He is an expert in family/matrimonial/children law and wills and probate. Alastair is also experienced in employment law and business law. Prior to entering the legal profession Alastair was a full time athlete, representing Great Britain at both junior and senior levels in short track speed skating. He was a member of the British Olympic squad and a former national champion and Olympic medal winner. Alastair studied European Law and French at university in Nottingham and Montpellier, France. He is a fluent French and Spanish speaker and an avid traveller. He has spent time living in France, Canada and Peru and has travelled extensively in Europe, North and South America. He is now married and enjoys spending time with his family.
