Nathan Hennah

Nathan became a Director of the practice in 2009. His principal areas of specialisation is in Clinical Negligence and Civil Action Claims against the Police. In clinical negligence, Nathan's practice encompasses all aspects of this specialism, including clinical and dental negligence. The breadth and diversity of his caseload in the last year has included litigation arising from: fatal pulmonary embolus following routine hip replacement surgery; death following obstetric complications; vascular complications during critical limb ischemia surgery; nursing errors; mismanagement of medication for ulcerative colitis; delay in diagnosing cancer; dental negligence; failure of A&E staff to diagnose a fracture; an error by a GP prescribing incorrect medication. Nathan's area of particular interest is obstetrics and gynaecology. His caseload of this type are of maximum severity and often high-profile: claim sizes have involved sums up to £10 million. Nathan is able to put clients at ease with sound advice whilst applying his comprehensive knowledge and technical ability to even the most sensitive facts of the case. Nathan has also built a solid client base in Civil Actions against the Police and is applauded for his tenacity in dealing with police authorities, including cases against the Commissioner for Police of the Metropolis. Nathan has represented a number of victims of miscarriages of justice, both in the United Kingdom and abroad. His particular expertise in complex or high value cases of: assault; false imprisonment; malicious prosecution and discrimination.
