David Lawrence

I am the founder of Fortis Law. I have expertise in a wide range of commercial property matters, with a particular bias towards the retail and office space sectors. Throughout my career I have dealt with a diverse spectrum of matters ranging from leases of high street shops to new developments and major portfolio acquisitions. I have significant experience in the South Coast and especially within Brighton & Hove and the surrounding commercial property markets. Other areas of expertise include licensing law and dealing with licensed premises. I was accredited as a BIIAB approved tutor in 2005. I also qualified as an Accredited Mediator in 2009. Before qualifying as a solicitor I obtained a BSc (Hons) in Building Surveying and worked in the industry for a number of years giving me a unique and well-rounded perspective on property law.
