Her experiences include working with the Citizen's Advice Bureau, Law Centres and High Street firms. Ms Obaseki has a long history of working with the community; in particular she is heavily involved in working with mental health organisations and is currently on the panel as a Mental Health Manager for East London NHS, her responsibilities include investigating and hearing cases. Ms Obaseki has initiated and organized many projects, schemes as well as developing programmes and arranging large scale meetings between all parts of the community and official personnel’s to push for sustainable, practical solutions. Beyond this, Ms Obaseki volunteers her own time to further the important causes of the community and help people from disadvantaged backgrounds by combing her extensive legal experience with her passion to find solutions to meet the needs of the society. Ms Obaseki also has substantial experience of advocating for her clients, particularly in housing and landlord and tenant matters reducing the need for barristers. She has been involved in many disputes and has first hand experience of litigation and mediation procedures. Ms Obaseki was a practicing solicitor in a previous law firm for over five years where she, Welfare Benefit and Housing Department. Subsequently she set up GHLP developing first Immigration Department, Family and then Housing departments She continues to achieve and accomplish the best results for her clients. Her clients have maintained her in high regard and quote she is always ready to help even where there is short notice. Ms Obaseki takes great pride and effort in caring for her clients when providing good, efficient advice and producing the desired results. As a result of he experience Ms Obaseki has developed her experience to include Mediation and is currently building up this department making use of her skills and experience for Families going through difficult times such as during Divorce and Separation. Ms Obaseki is a member of Resolution and holds the Family Panel membership
