* Partner within the Employment Law Team at Worthingtons, Belfast Office, * Eleven years’ post qualification experience in employment law litigation * Work closely with employers across the public, private and third sectors providing practical advice and assistance in respect of the application of their internal procedures to individual employee cases * Provide advice and representation in respect of the defense of all categories of employment claims before the Industrial and Fair Employment Tribunals and the civil courts in Northern Ireland * Regularly advise on restructuring issues including individual and collective redundancies and the application and implication of TUPE. * Have particular skill and experience in guiding clients in relation to drafting and varying contracts of employment and company policies and handbooks. * manage complex grievance and disciplinary cases and provide representation in cases involving public interest disclosure detriment and dismissal and unlawful victimisation generally. Write regular updates on employment law developments for both the Ulster Business and the Legal Island Email Update service. Speak at Seminars and provide in-house training for clients.
