Ajmal Hussain

Ajmal is a Member (Partner) of HUSANES LLP. He has spent most of his career undertaking all aspects of Commercial Property work, having dealt with bank security work, options, freehold sales and purchases, acting for investors and small pension schemes, commercial lease assignments, matters under the Landlord and Tenant Act 1954, restaurant licensing and general company commercial work. He also undertakes some civil litigation work for selected clients, mainly within the sphere of commercial property work and related matters. On a personal note Ajmal obtained an LLB (Hon) in English and European Law from the University of London, for which he also spent a year at the University of Utrecht. He went on to complete his Legal Practice Course at the College of Law and trained with a small firm in London, qualifying in 2000. In his quest for valuable experience, Ajmal moved to North Kent and then Reading in the Thames Valley, where he acquired most of his experience in Commercial Property work. He then spent 3 years as the Commercial Partner with a Firm in London and decided to return to employed work, to focus and specialise on his chosen areas of expertise, joining the niche practice of Pothecary Witham Weld as an Associate Solicitor in November 2007 and becoming equity partner in March 2013. It is fair to say that Ajmal has gained depth in his experience having worked with very small firms and larger ones, finally choosing to set up his own practice, HUSANES LLP
