With rising cost of living and being retired I wanted to release some money to pay for a few things that pension couldn't cover.

Provided clear advice about the options and particularly the pros and cons of equity release. He got everything moving very quickly making sure that at every stage I understood what was involved and that I was making informed decisions. He arranged a solicitor to take care of the legal work and kept in touch with colleagues at First Financial at every stage of the process through to completion

I'm still waiting email back from Mark as he promised to keep inform me if any more available brokers who gives loan above 90 of LTV but nothing heard back

Looking to buy a 2nd house, big upgrade.. Mark came highly recommended.

Mark was able to get the right deal to be accepted by a lender and to benefit us financially too. I would never have known to do what he did so I am of course very grateful!!! He has also got us into the correct insurances for renting my other property and life insurance too..

We were looking for guidance on choosing the most suitable mortgage and insurance products for our needs. The market seemed like a bit of a minefield to us with so many products on offer!

How has Mark Weymouth helped you?

Mark quickly and efficiently asked some basic questions to establish exactly what it was we needed product wise, he went away and within a few days came back with prices and detailed explanations of why he had chosen the insurance policy’s/level of cover for us.

Have you seen the outcome you were hoping for?

Absolutely, Mark managed to secure us our mortgage first of all with a fixed rate for 5years and this suited us perfectly, after 2 years he contacted us to arrange a review of our insurance policy’s, at the same time we were looking to carry out some building work to our property and so Mark managed to arrange a further advance from our lender on our behalf.

What could they have done better?

Literally nothing, we love Marks straight forward no nonsense friendly approach to what he does. We frequently recommend Mark and 1st Financial!
