I was looking for competent mortgage broker, and was fortunate to find an outstanding professional in Michelle. Not only could Michelle find the best mortgage deals, but adapt to the needs of a group of solicitors who had a less comprehensive set of mortgage lenders to support. I asked Michelle to rework her mortgage advise to support a lender the solicitors could work with, and Michelle not only rose to the challenge but was outstanding to make it all happen is such a short period of time.

Michelle was essential in finding the best mortgage to purchase our new home, but throughout the house purchase process was the driving force in ensuring the lender's approval especially at a critical time around contractual variations and where searches had expired. Michelle's proactive communication with all of the key stakeholders in the house purchase ensured the most accurate information was available at all times and frequently lead the team to make the purchase possible.

Although the entire process of selling and purchasing took more than 6 months, the delays are attributed to extensive contract negotiations. When the most critical time required an exemplary professional to take the lead to ensure success was achieved, Michelle was that person to direct the partner within the group of solicitors we used to talk to the correct personnel with the Lender organization.

Michelle was so helpful. I needed a few different options looking at; a let-to-buy mortgage alongside a home mortgage and an option of just a home mortgage. Michelle gave me some great options. She was always on the other end of the phone when things were getting tricky with our purchase. Michelle has great contacts with the lenders so she was able to push our application through as well as smooth out any issues that were the result of our leasehold sale. Everything that could go wrong did go wrong with our sale and purchase and Michelle was always the calm voice at the other end of the phone helping it all move in the right direction. I needed a new mortgage as I was buying a new property

How has Michelle Sharpe helped you?

Michelle worked incredibly hard to push up my lending capacity. I am self employed and take income as part salary and part dividends which lenders often don’t take all into account as salary . Michelle liaised with my accountant and the lender in order to prove my income. She was also able to manage the entire process either through email, phone conversations and scanned evidence. There was no need to meet up in person meaning she can offer an exceptional service no matter where you are based. It also fitted around work/commitments which worked really well for me as a teacher I am not always able to answer calls. Once Michelle had achieved our offer in principal her service still continued. We had a difficult time with the solicitor who was very hard to reach. Michelle even went out of her way to liaise with the solicitor and complained to the solicitors senior in order to progress the sale/purchase. I felt supported every step of the way and felt I knew what should be happening when, as Michelle would ask if we had signed contracts or if the money had been released etc.

She was absolutely brilliant! She helped me find the right mortgage for me and went that extra mile to deal with my very difficult estate agents on my behalf. The first instance was when she was out of the country on holiday and helped me to secure my property and take it off the market. As a first time buyer this whole process was new and very daunting. A lot of the terminology and applications were all new and can be confusing when you've never seen these before. Along with my mortgage she was a great help when I was dealing with my solicitors and what they required from me and understanding their requests. She was very helpful and always made the time to explain and answer my hundreds of questions. She is so friendly and nice too which made it easier to talk to. I was looking for a re-mortgage and advice on life and critical illness cover.

I really thought I knew and could do better and find a product on the web for myself. However my rate was ending and I'd left it a bit late to sort out, so on a friend's recommendation asked for Michelle's help (thinking I'd take the free advice and run with it myself). However, Michelle found a slightly better rate than I could, and had looked into all the small print - like arrangement fee and redemption fee. She also advised which lenders offered good customer service as well.

Without a doubt. Michelle's fee was covered in the first 3 months of mortgage savings and I've been saving every month since. She also advised on how to get my finances in order to be mortgage ready for my next move up the housing ladder. I also feel more in control of things, rather than that 'brushed under the carpet' feeling I'm more used to.
