I established White House Mortgages Ltd in January 1997, and was one of the first Directly Authorised firms in October 2004 by the then FSA, now FCA. My aim, is for you to join my loyal list of clients, who come back to me time after time, recommend me to their family and friends and know that I am always there to help or advise them, whether they are doing or planning something to do with a mortgage or protection, or not. Many of my clients have been with me for 10, 15 20 or more years, at times handing me down through the generations. There's a distinct difference between a client as described above, and a customer who comes to me once only. My business is built on the trust built up over many years between myself and my clients. Yes I charge a fee for my services, however my services are far more than just a transaction with a fee. I sincerely hope that you join my loyal family of clients. I strongly believe in Full Independence as opposed to restricted advice. If there's a lender or a product out there, then I don't want to be restricted by some panel of lenders preventing me from giving full and unbiased advice. I also believe in transparency at every stage and by both my firm and my client. I don't like surprises and neither should you. For most people, their mortgage is the biggest and longest term financial commitment they are likely to make. Your job as a potential client, is to tell me truthfully what you want to achieve, to answer my questions fully and provide the documents and proofs of income in full without exception. My job as your potential adviser is to find the best solution for your circumstances, so that you can achieve your objectives. This is a grown up approach and very different from a generic adviser who will charge a nominal fee and then have to sell you some insurance product to make up their money. After saying that, my fees are fair, transparent and pre agreed at the beginning of the advice process. The vast majority of my clients have been with me for many many years.
