Absolutely having not had a great experience with our first mortgage going direct through a well known bank all the stress was removed and reassurances given. The process was so quick and hassle free.

We were buying our first property.

Robert secured the mortgage for our first property. As we were new to the process we had lots of questions which Robert answered quickly and very clearly. Robert was incredibly helpful throughout the process - he was always available, and even answered some queries when he was on his days off. He helped answer questions about the house buying process more generally, even if it wasn't directly part of his job i.e. when there were some delays with communication between our lawyers and the lender, Robert used his contacts at the lender to help get a speedy answer. We ultimately got a lower interest on our mortgage than we expected with our loan to value, which was thanks to Robert. Overall we were very happy with Robert's work and would strongly recommend him to others.

Have you seen the outcome you were hoping for?

Yes. Our mortgage was approved and at a lower interest rate than expected, and lower than the other mortgage advisers we spoke to. Robert was a great help throughout the process, even with general questions about buying a property that weren't directly related to the mortgage.

Robert was not only helpful but knowledgeable as well. He was also conscientious, keeping in touch regularly with updates, and was quick to resolve problems and come up with solutions. His positive attitude, patience and perseverance paid off in the end as we managed to secure a mortgage.

Have you seen the outcome you were hoping for?

Although we did not achieve the mortgage terms we were aiming for, we were happy that the application process was successful and are happy to use Robert's services again in the future.

What could they have done better?

The only issue we had with the products sold to us was that our adviser should have been sensitive to our budget constraints, and as such refrained from selling us additional products that we could not afford.
