Hello, my name is Corin and I’m a financial coach based in West London. My career was previously spent in various management roles within the logistics industry. Back in 2018, my wife and I decided that we’d like to take an extended career break & spend some time travelling in India. To make this happen I first had to take a good look at our savings and household finances, to see whether our goal was possible or if it was just an unachievable dream! I set about putting a financial plan together based on our new financial goal, and established that this 'trip of a lifetime' was indeed possible. Our travels in India lived up to expectations and were truly amazing, and I also found I really enjoyed the financial planning process that I undertook in advance of our trip. A few years down the line and what started as a career break turned out to be a complete change of career, and I’m very happy to be now working with Octopus Money in helping people to achieve their own financial goals, whatever they may be. My role as a financial coach is to first work with you to understand your financial goals, then put a plan in place to show you how you could achieve them, before helping you to decide on what actions to take to ensure that you have the very best chance of success. Some areas I often help my clients with include: • Saving to buy a house • Planning for their children’s future and saving enough to make sure they'll be financially secure over the long term • Building the right investment portfolio to grow their wealth for the medium to long term • Ensuring they are on track to enjoy a comfortable lifestyle in retirement Octopus Money work in a different way to most financial advisers, and because of this it allows us to keep our service accessible and affordable to everybody. We mainly work by Zoom and email, and we make full use of technology and external specialists when needed. We charge only £299 for our financial planning service 'Plan my Goals', which is a three month programme based around a bespoke financial plan and action strategy.
