Previous IFA not really interested in clients! No relationship with advisor.

Within the limits of the current market chaos and unhelpful government.

What were the circumstances that caused you to initially look for an adviser?

My husband was becoming increasingly stressed trying to financially plan for our retirement and where to invest his growing pension pot.

How has Nick Broughton helped you?

After meeting Nick many years now and taking his financial advice, it removed all the stress and anxiety associated with monitoring our investments and pension funds. When my husband recently, unexpectedly passed away, I really do not know what I would have done without Nick to sort out all my husband’s pensions and investments for me. He is always totally professional, prompt to respond to any queries and someone who I trust to give me good sensible advice.

Have you seen the outcome you were hoping for?

The client relationship I have with Nick ( and that my husband previously had) is more than I’d hoped for and gives me peace of mind that he is always there if I need his financial advice especially now I am living in my own. Over the years, as expected, our investments have reflected the rise and fall of the economic climate. But, overall our investments have significantly increased and should provide a good return in retirement.

What could they have done better?

Perhaps everyone could always do better, but in my experience, I am very satisfied with the service, advice, professionalism and financial outcome that I have received to date.
