What were the circumstances that caused you to initially look for an adviser?

In anticipation of completing my first business sale I was introduced to Tom Fawcett along with a troop of bankers advisers finance and tax experts investment specialists and consultants. All of whom cost me money except Tom, who made me money. When things go well he's a very helpful guy to know, when things get tough (and I put the pandemic on that list) you couldn't wish for anyone better by your side.

Tom has helped support my understanding, coached and instilled knowledge with the right dials and indicators to watch and timely, wise counsel all the way along my long, long journey since.

Have you seen the outcome you were hoping for?

Yes. With a number of enterprises now further built, I cant imagine making any material financial decision without Tom. Brilliant common sense, great counsel, solid advice, hugely experienced and well informed, and a really pleasant man to deal with. My family also owe Tom a huge debt of gratitude for his wise counsel which now extends to them also.

What could they have done better?

Personally I'm a wine lover, I think Toms preference for real ale is flawed.

I sold my house and needed to find ways to invest the proceeds

Tom takes time to simplify his explanations so I can understand.

Market activity has been unusual, under the circumstances I feel Toms’ guidance has been excellent.

For me Toms’ service is excellent

We had need for some financial support and structure.
