He’s able to plan retirement in a way that enables a confident financial outlook.Investments also have grown at a most satisfactory rate in savings that feel right for me

What were the circumstances that caused you to initially look for an adviser?

I needed a general review of my finances.

How has Daniel Jones helped you?

I spoke with several financial advisers before deciding to appoint Dan. What stood out in contrast to others was how his focus was on me, my life, and what the money is ultimately for. Dan has been able to show me that I can stop work earlier than expected without having to sacrifice the life I live today. We have a financial plan in place that we review together at least annually to make sure I remain on track and I really look forward to our meetings!

Have you seen the outcome you were hoping for?

Yes! And as an added bonus, Dan's fees were lower than the other firms I spoke with whilst offering a more valuable and comprehensive service.

What could they have done better?

I can't think of anything that would improve this service; I am very happy with my choice.

What were the circumstances that caused you to initially look for an adviser?

I needed help with my finances generally in terms of my pensions, investments, and retirement plan. I knew what I had but needed someone to help make sense of it all.

How has Daniel Jones helped you?

Having worked with other financial advisers in the past I have to say Dan has been the best. I always felt others were only interested in my money (and how much of it they could look after) but Dan has always put the focus on me and the life I want to live. By first establishing that, he has put a financial plan in place to help me achieve it. I now feel confident in how much I can spend without running out of money in the future and this part of the service is priceless to me as I was always rather cautious by nature in my spending.

Have you seen the outcome you were hoping for?

Very much so. I’d never truly appreciated the value that financial planning of the kind Dan delivers can give until we started working together. I also feel much more confident with my investments due to how clearly he explains everything.

What could they have done better?

Nothing I can think of.

What were the circumstances that caused you to initially look for an adviser?

I required advice around planning for my retirement.

How has Daniel Jones helped you?

Dan helped me to understand my money and has given me great confidence that I am on track to have the life I want. He helped ensure my pensions and investments are in the right places but most valuable of all is the cashflow planning work we do together every year which really brings everything to life for me. One of Dan’s greatest strengths is to take something I’ve always struggled to understand and explain in it such a simple and patient way. I find our meetings invaluable.

Have you seen the outcome you were hoping for?

Dan has provided me with an outcome that’s exceeded my expectations. Not only am I now enjoying a comfortable retirement but by meeting every year to review and update my financial plan I have the confidence to spend more money than I thought possible. This has meant the ability to enjoy more holidays with my family and live a better life. Dan actively encourages me to spend my money and is passionate about using it to have the best life possible!

What could they have done better?

Nothing. I have recommended Dan to friends and family over the years who have also seen positive outcomes.
