Away from work I cherish time with my family between Suffolk and North Yorkshire. I love the outdoors and attempt to keep fit so as to fight off the effects of ageing! Sadly my rugby playing days are well and truly over but I remain an enthusiastic supporter at Club and International levels. One of my hobbies is to maintain and drive an inherited 1959 classic car. I'm happily married with two grown up sons and very proud that Louis has joined the practice (third generation at St. James's Place). I am always keen to support my local community, with previous positions as chairman of the Business Association, Town Councillor and now Treasurer for a local charity. I have been advising private clients for over 30 years and run a successful Senior Partner Practice of St. James’s Place Wealth Management. I am a Chartered Financial Planner and accredited member of the Society of Later Life Advisers (SOLLA). My practice, Ewart & Bridgeman Advisers, is now a hybrid (online and face to face) advice practice, in part delivered through a brilliant client portal powered by Digital Wealth Solutions. That said, we will always accommodate face to face meetings when and where appropriate. As a long established Senior Partner Practice of St. James's Place we have several corporate relationships with multi-national organisations and have developed in-depth knowledge of complex pension arrangements and tax advice on LTIP share plans. Intergenerational planning is also an increasingly important aspect of our advice.
