We are planning some significant life changes which will require us to navigate a different financial landscape.

Alasdair has supported the business for many years so has a very good insight into our current financial situation. We have recently asked for individual personal financial planning advice, and he was able to project how our finances will look in the future depending on how we alter different variables. We were able to discuss different hypothetical situations and this helped us see what may or may not be possible. Over the years Alasdair offered excellent business advice which has helped create a secure financial future, not only for us but taking our whole family into consideration. His approach to our personal finances has been completely unbiased, taking into account our individual circumstances. He is clearly very passionate about his job and takes pride in supporting people with their finances and future goals.

I have been a client of Alastairs’s for a number of years and always found him very down to earth and explains his advice in a way for me to understand.

He has helped me organise my finances when I retired, enabling me to have a steady income to live now that I’m retired. Alasdair has set up family trusts and given advice about other financial planning going forwards, I really value his advice.

Yes, I am not someone who takes risks with my money but my returns are what we agreed and I am very happy with the results.

Alasdair could not do better. He is always at hand if I have any questions or need further advice.

Wanting to know my money was being put to good use, but without having to become an expert in doing the right thing with it.

Allowed me to explain my needs in my language, listened and adjusted feedback accordingly. Was prepared to challenge and add to / enhance my thinking. This left me with a lot to think about and I respect that Alasdair has given me this time rather than push to go to the next step, which I think will be an important part of any ongoing relationship.

What were the circumstances that caused you to initially look for an adviser?

After my father passed, due to circumstance of his case, i was left with money that my family sort to invest until i turned 18. Then i took over the investment & thats when i sort to seek out an adviser

Alasdair has been great in the sense that he listens intently to you personal situation in order to then answer your questions and queries, with knowledge and understanding.

I needed a professional I could trust having been let down by my previous IFA.

My late husband and I ran our own business and needed professional advice regarding pensions and making the most of our savings.

Alasdair helped us both with our financial planning and then after my husband's death he helped me to re-evaluate my financial situation. He continues to ensure that I am happy with the level of income from my pensions and that I am comfortable with the level of risk involved with my various investments.
