He has then gone further to make the form-filling (a task I hate!) virtually painless and all with a positive cheerful attitude! But on this occasion he went even further: he knew that my fixed 5 yr rate was due to expire in Dec 2023, so not "soon" by the standards of the inexperienced (or those brokers who lack Ben's passion) but for Ben Dec 2023 was not far enough away when he put it into the context of the depth and potential length of the interest rate crisis that he could see early signs of. So he proactively contacted me to lock into a low fixed 5 year rate in a way that also helped me avoid any early redemption penalties - thoughtful and proactive!
