What were the circumstances that caused you to initially look for an adviser?

I had a solid portfolio which had done very well for me over a number of years. As I got older I decided that I needed to consider a more measured approach to my investments. In other words I wanted to take out some of the market volatility and consolidate the gains I had made. I had known Mathew for many years as he offered some advice a long time ago. One of my sons needed some financial advice and I recommended Mathew I was very pleased with the work he carried out which has proven to be exactly what was required. I decided to talk with Mathew about my own investments and I am extremely pleased that I did.

We have completely restructured my SIPP, Reinvested in funds that are less exposed to market fluctuations and also made the overall administration so much easier.

It is early days but I am very happy with my new arrangements and have no reason to doubt that I will continue to be happy in the future

There were one or two issues relating to the transfer of funds but these were not the fault of Mathew. He chased any delay in transferring and kept me informed.

its been over 12 years since my last financial review ,and those said advisors want to do zoom or phone advice meetings ,I wanted a one to one like it used to be without commercial pressure to sell me something I didn't need and meet the person dealing with my finances .

My husband and I had our own company and were therefore responsible for our own pension provision. Initially our fund was with Equitable Life and when they failed, had to look elsewhere. The outcome of Matthew's advise saw my investments grow and achieve the result I wanted.
