My initial meeting with Mandy was very informative and showed me that I could do so much more with the funds available. Mandy was very knowledgeable and explained things in a way that I could understand. Ever since our initial meeting both Mandy and BPI have done everything they said they would and have achieved things that I couldn’t have on my own. I have also had a meeting with Peter which was in much the same vein. I am very happy with the services provided by both Mandy and BPI.

I needed to remortgage as my current lender would not extend the term on my interest only mortgage. I made a few enquiries and realised that most mortgage lenders were not interested. It was further complicated as this was a second home which a member of my family live in.

Mandy placed our mortgage with a well known mortgage company, with a good fixed rate and managed to extend the term for me for a further 16 years. This now gives me more breathing space to sell the property when required as this is how I intend to repay the borrowing.

Mandy was both knowledgable and had a good way of explaining concepts in a practical and down-to-earth manner. I also found Mandy helped myself and my partner to understand other adjacent considerations (eg financial power of attorney) and their implications that I hadn't fully thought through . Crucially for me, Mandy has a great empathetic nature which increases my sense of trust. Highly recommended.

Explained how complex it was to come out of equity release if I changed my mind and wanted to sell current property. We talked about two sets of bills with two properties.
