Patrick Van Eady

I have been a financial adviser for almost two decades, and it's a career I genuinely love. It's rare to find a profession where you can make a significant impact on people’s lives, and witnessing their financial journeys is incredibly fulfilling. My career began in the premier retail banking environment, and I spent seven years with the UK’s largest provider, Prudential UK. This experience ultimately inspired me to establish my own practice over five years ago. I had a strong desire to offer my clients truly independent, whole-of-market advice because I believe there’s no better way to achieve the best outcomes than through unbiased professional guidance. My areas of expertise include investments, pensions (both pre- and post-retirement), and inheritance tax planning. I hold numerous professional qualifications in financial advice and mortgages, in addition to a BSc (Hons) in Law and Business. As a professional adviser, I view this journey as ongoing, with no end date to learning and growth. My client base is diverse, ranging from young professionals starting their financial planning journey to more senior clients completing theirs. I also collaborate with accountancies to offer bespoke packages for their clients and have built a strong network of specialists who can provide first-class products and services across various areas. I believe the key to quality advice lies in truly listening to clients' needs and articulating information in a way that matches their level of understanding. After all, people can’t embrace what they don’t understand. It’s my responsibility as an adviser to ensure that my clients have a full grasp of their financial plans.
