I am not sure that given the financial market and my specific requirements that they could have done better.

I had an inheritance left to me and wanted to maximise the amount over a period of years

He understood and listened to my needs. He looked at all avenues which best suited my income as well as the sum I wished to invest. He explained the process it great detail and made sure I was happy with the information given.

Have you seen the outcome you were hoping for?

Yes most definitely

What were the circumstances that caused you to initially look for an adviser?

My wife and I had funds in a savings account that were not working for us. We wanted to invest them in order to obtain some better interest. I also had a pension pot that I was unsure how to manage for the future.

How has David Brooker helped you?

David helped us to find the right investments for our needs. He helped me to understand what I could do with my pension.

Have you seen the outcome you were hoping for?

Yes, for the most part. In the first year we saw our funds make the returns we were expecting. However, Brexit and Covid both had a detrimental affect on our investments. We are now seeing a return on our investments to where we expected.

What could they have done better?

I don't think anything could have been done better. The fall on our investments was due to outside forces and David kept his eye on them advising us for the long term.

What were the circumstances that caused you to initially look for an adviser?

Two investment bonds were left without a financial adviser for many years.

How has David Brooker helped you?

David initially advised us to leave our investment bonds in place. He further arranged stocks and shares ISAs for money transferred from existing cash ISAs.

Have you seen the outcome you were hoping for?

The outcome has been what we hoped for.
