Wayne was fantastic in guiding us and ensuring we chose the best financial option available for us. He offered sound advice and no task was too much for him and his assistant Mark. They truly went above and beyond and during moments of uncertainty, Wayne was there to offer reassurance and clarity.

Yes, we now own our own home and me and my family are financially secure thanks to the guidance provided by Wayne.

What could they have done better?

I honestly don’t feel there was anything they could have done more. They offered support constantly whilst never applying pressure. I couldn’t rate him high enough.

What were the circumstances that caused you to initially look for an adviser?

Having retired from work I wanted to combine two pensions into a Drawdown product. I contacted four different independent financial advisers before deciding to go with Spectrum. Initial decision was based on fee but after my first consultation with Wayne I was confident he would guide me through the Pension minefield. I liked the fact that Spectrum charged a fixed fee for that particular stage of accessing the pension, whereas the other firms I contacted charged a higher fixed fee plus a percentage of the value of the pension pot.

How has Wayne Slater helped you?

Wayne talked through the various options which were available, annuity, drawdown and a combination of both. He then researched which pension fund would best suit my criteria and which also provided optimum value for money. He then arranged everything and guided me through the process at each stage until completion.

Have you seen the outcome you were hoping for?

Yes, I have access to my pension’s tax free cash and at a later date might decide to take out an annuity. For the time being I am happy to keep an eye on how the pension is performing.

What could they have done better?

I have no issues at all. Wayne and Mark at Spectrum have been very supportive and available to assist whenever needed.
