What were the circumstances that caused you to initially look for an adviser?

I needed tailored advice on taking equity release in unusual circumstances.

Gareth listened and set out various options and alternatives, clearly explaining the advantages and possible disadvantages, enabling me to make a well-informed choice.

Pending, but I have every confidence.

What could they have done better?

Nothing really. Gareth's initial contact was prompt, as have been all his emails during the process.

What were the circumstances that caused you to initially look for an adviser?

I needed an IFA to help in pre-retirement planning. I am planning to retire in the next 5 years and have complicated pension arrangements from several employers and funds with enormous variation in peformance. I needed to understand my situation fully and plan for retirement with confidence.

How has Gareth Reynolds helped you?

Gareth was very friendly and easy to understand from the outset. He clearly explained where i was now, what he could do for me, and what his fees were for the work he would undertake. I decided to engage him to 1)Fully research my various pension funds, and understand why they perform differently. 2)Advise on the pros and cons of consolidating some funds and leaving others alone. 3) Prepare a cash flow for me and my wife to plan my retirement options based on my risk preferences and income needs. He has explained everything clearly to me at each stage.

Have you seen the outcome you were hoping for?

Gareth prepared a very comprehensive report with various options for my complex arrangements, pros and cons of different scenarios, recommendations and reasons for them, and cash flow for different scenarios. I have decided to follow all his recommendations now, and will be engaging his services again upon retirement.

To pay off my Mortgage pay off debts as well.

Good advice all the way through the process by Gareth and his team very professional at ease all the time made sure I was happy with all the information given to me and that I understood everything I was being advised on.

Very happy with the outcome very professional team kept informed what was going on right from start to finish excellent I will tell all my family and friends to use Gareth and his team if they need any help like I did.

I could find no faults at all like I said spot on professional from start to finish Gareth I have asked to keep an I on my finances in the future that's my trust in this team I can't recommend them any better than that thank you for your help now and in the future mw

We wanted advice to see if we could take early retierment.
