Myself and my business partner were liquidating our business and together with my accountant and Martin we put most of the funds tax efficiently in a pension.

Martin brought all my various pensions and investments together under one umbrella, and arranged for me to take annuities with some pension companies. two of which had guaranteed annuities. I have kept one other pension, and ISA's, which are achieving excellent returns. He has achieved an outcome which is far better than I ever expected.

I do not believe that Rowley Turton could have done better.

Early retirement for health reasons for one of us and planning for early retirement for my wife at the same time. We had money to invest and also wanted to consolidate various smaller pensions my wife had. We were looking for financial planning advice for our future.

We didn’t feel the same pressure to invest In certain schemes that we had felt from others, instead Martin was friendly and really seemed to have our best interests in mind. He also seemed genuinely very happy for us when he illustrated How our long term financial Planning would allow for a “fantastic retirement”.

It’s too early to say how the investments will work out, but so far Martin has ticked all the boxes we were looking for and a couple we didn’t know about.

Martin and his partner Alan Turton had been financial advisors for my parents for a significant number of years prior to their deaths.

Martin managed very complex transactions with my inheritance from my parents estate which involved navigating the intricacies of US financial regulation (given that I am a US resident) in order to allow transfer of equity investments from the UK to the USA. This is not a routine matter and Martin managed the process in a flawless and very transparent manner.

There is constant work to do on pensions and investments with rules and regulations changing constantly. Martin is never too busy to respond and always very glad to help.
