As I was heading to early retirement I wanted to speak to a financial adviser who could help my wife and I plan what to do with the cash that we had realised from our closing our business. Most importantly I wanted to find someone that I could trust and Simon was recommended to me by a friend who had been using his services for a number of years.

Our previous IFA sold his business. The acquirer was far more concerned with growing their own business & charging (unjustifiable ) fees , rather than looking after our portfolio . We did our market research, applied some professional criteria and Due Diligence; Apogee met our criteria, expectations & impressed us with their professionalism & client service proposition.

In terms of the journey so far : yes. This is a difficult/uncertain market and likely to remain so for some time. Simon has helped us to navigate and secure some ‘wins’ despite the market.
