Having received a financial benefit from a deceased relative and also receiving finance from a matured investment policy I decided to take professional advice on how to invest these benefits.

I cannot think of anything. Advice given and returns on investments have been satisfactory. Any members of Apogee, including David, that I have contacte have always been helpful and professional.

Before retirement, I worked in the international oil and gas industry, which paid very well, and I found by 2001 that I had savings to spare and looked for advice on suitable investments. Soon after that, I met David.

He assessed my risk profile and selected suitable funds in which to invest. He advised on a mortgage when my wife and I needed to upsize in 2008, and also helped set up a LPA. His recommendations have ensured that our retirement benefits not only from occupational pensions but also from regular investment income. We meet regularly to discuss my portfolio and to consider any changes, additions or transfers that might be needed.

Absolutely I have. Some of the investments from which I draw 5% per year are actually now worth considerably more than what I initially paid. I no longer work but my net worth remains at the same level. I'm happy with that!
