Ryan has helped me tremendously in the last year since my father died and I am currently in the process of divorce. He has given me advice related to the property in my SIPP and Hornbuckle Mitchell, the pension company with whom I hold my SIPP who have been less than helpful in the transfer of tenants in my property. Ryan has helped greatly with this for me. He has given me advice related to my father’s estate and my possible inheritance and the related solicitor questions. He has also been very helpful supplying my solicitor and myself with advice related to my finances and my impending divorce very promptly and efficiently.

Early retirement as market for consultancy dropped due to natural dip in business. Originally planned for early retirement at 50 but extended it to 60.

The need for tax efficient means of saving and getting the right balance between risk and return. It was also important to spread investments across a number of areas.

He helped set up a new pension which could be passed to the grandchildren in a tax efficient way. He also suggested moving existing pension funds to a scheme where there were much clearer charges and probably a better return in the future.

The return was on the higher end of what was expected for the medium risk that I was prepared to take.

I have been with Armstrong Watson since 2012 when I returned to the UK after working overseas for 32 years. I needed advice on how to move back onshore and have been with them continuously, they do my annual tax returns and Ryan provides help and advice whenever I require it.

I have required Ryan's advice on numerous items, State Pension, Private Pension, Investments, Release of Funds for New Car, Medical etc. He works very closely with the Investment company and keeps me regularly updated as well as facilitating regular meetings with the Investment Company. I have been very impressed with the outcome of my portfolio since Ryan took control. He is very proactive and responds to me within hours of my request for assistance by email, even during the Covid Lockdown.

Ryan was very helpful and although the consultation I had was free so was his time and no cost ot me, he didnt rish things and made me feel that he would take as long as necessary until I understand what I needed to know. He seemed very knowledgeable and profressional. Any future financial queries I might have, Ryan would be my first go to man.

Ryan was very helpful and gave clear advice. He also helped with questions I needed answering regarding tax implications . He aided me in sorting out what further information I need to find out from my present company which I am staying with but I would certainly contact Ryan again when thinking of moving things about. He was open about fees.
