Honest and plain spoken. Did not try to sell me anything but offered good advice and common sense.

A very different experience from that expected after reading the marketing material provided by VouchedFor as distributed via Moneywise - which in fact is plain misleading and not to be recommended! However, notwithstanding that I am not now in possession of the 2 page 'Free Financial Plans worth £500 each' and no longer expect to be, I did have an enjoyable and productive meeting with Benedict. If I do wish to engage an IFA at any time, now or in the future, Benedict's professionalism and interest in the client put him and his company in pole position for the engagement.

How has Benedict Anderton helped you?
Communicates, listens, advises and talks through the options well. He knows the market and has built a string team.
What could they have done better?
He and the team are proactive in a way but would like them to be more so in terms of looking at opportunities for me.

How has Benedict Anderton helped you?
Ben and his team have given me sound advice for a number of years now. His affable style makes it easy to discuss matters and there is a thoroughness to his work which instils a level of confidence. When issues arise there is always clear detail and direction provided and I've always felt the advice I have been given is genuinely independent.
What could they have done better?
As a front office professional we are always wanting to understand the effects of our interactions with the market. I mentioned a while back that I think it would be extremely good to provide specific quantitative feedback on the performance of one's portfolio based on investment decisions taken by GWM Ltd, for example regarding ISAs and pensions. This would not only provide the client with information illustrating that a decision to move in or out of a fund was justified but would also give GWM Ltd confidence in their market analysis together with a view as to the effectiveness/profitability of those decisions.
