I have seen a provider's quote and I know what income to expect from the annuity. The income will be passed on to my wife in the event of my death.

What could they have done better?

James studied my current situation, listened carefully to my requirements, went away and came back with a plan that suits me very well. Difficult to see how this could have been improved!

James came to visit me at home. His approach was exceptionally professional, taking both the advantages and disadvantages of investing sustainably. He was very approachable and friendly in character, giving me trust which is important these days.

As I have just invested, I need to wait for an outcome.

What could they have done better?

My only constructive suggestion is that I now have another contact point for my investments. As I have met James I would have preferred James to have been my contact point for my investments. Knowing people is a matter of trust.

Looking to see if I could retire or die in harness! Not the most financial savvy person and my pensions were very difficult to unravel. I also had some savings which were rotting in the bank.

I have an instinctive distrust of the financial industry. James understood this and very patient in explaining matters sometimes more than once. For me i am not sure what he could of done better.

James on holiday so colleague called but did not seem fully aware of inheritance tax situations and said they would check and get back in touch, nothing yet?
