We moved back to the UK from the US and needed to review our financial situation to plan for a comfortable retirement.

Yes, our investments are returning enough growth for us to feel confident that we've got the right financial plan.

What could they have done better?

The only disadvantage we have is that Richard is a UK financial specialist and isn't able to help us with US investments. It would be ideal for us if Richard did know enough about 401Ks, however, it's not enough of a problem to switch advisors.

Wanting to work out the earliest possible retirement age.

How has Richard Gross helped you?

At the outset Richard helped us make an objective assessment of the lifestyle we want in retirement, how much income we need to achieve it, and how well our existing assets would provide us this income given different projected economic conditions. When it came to retirement, he gave us very clear information on how the changing pension rules impact us, and how to best access the different sources of income so as to reduce the tax bill. He has continued to manage our finances very smoothly and efficiently.

Have you seen the outcome you were hoping for?

Richard is always very quick to answer queries, clear in the information he gives us, and supportive when we have concerns. He doesn't attempt to sugar-coat bad markets but takes a calm long-term view backed up by evidence.
