What were the circumstances that caused you to initially look for an adviser?

I had several pensions with various companies that i needed looking at.

I have consolidated some pensions and the others have been left to run as they are so I benefit fully from them. I now have a plan going forward of when I can look at retiring.

I have known Maxine for over 10 years. I sought advice about a personal pension review and consolidation.

Maxine undertook an entire personal pension review on all my individual pensions. Following tji review advice and guidance was given how best to maximise my personal pension status.

Have you seen the outcome you were hoping for?

Yes, and it was absolutely worth the time and money to complete that process. My pension is now earning me money and is also safe. It is reviewed yearly.

What could they have done better?

Nothing. The advice given is always well informed, considered and gives me options to discuss and agree the best way forward for my situation.

Deciding to opt out of a company pension scheme that looked like it was heading into financial difficulties.

Transferring out to an E-sipp Personal Pension after going through pro's and con's with unbiased recommendations. All risks were explained well with regards to the investments and growth or possible losses. Risk profile assessments and reviews of personal finances were undertaken to ensure suitability of services and all costs fully explained.

Have you seen the outcome you were hoping for?

Having reached a drawdown stage with my personal pension it was definitely the right decision to opt out my old company pension. The ability to take out lump sums and choice of monthly drawdown are great and I was advised of their effect and sustainability of the fund before taking any monies out. My investment has grown more than I expected, considering the tough worldwide financial times of the past few years.

What could they have done better?

I'm satisfied with the regular reviews, financial assessments and growth of the fund. All replies to help or queries have always been very prompt. Overall a good experience with no real negatives.
