I have more than 31 years of experience in financial services, with most of my career spent as an independent financial adviser. During this time, I have worked closely with many clients, helping them navigate their financial journeys. In recent years, I have developed a speciality in assisting clients who are on their own, recognising the unique financial challenges and opportunities they face. Having experienced divorce myself, I bring a personal understanding to my work with clients in similar situations. Outside of work, I maintain an active and diverse lifestyle. I start each day by hitting the gym at 6:15 am. In my free time, I enjoy keeping up with current affairs and politics, as well as outdoor activities like kayaking, paddleboarding, hiking, and camping. I can often be found engrossed in a game of backgammon, complemented by a glass of wine. When life changes and you find yourself alone, it is natural to have concerns about your financial future. But don’t let questions like, “Will I run out of money?”, “Will I be able to look after my family?” and “Will I be alright?” give way to worries and fear. At Solus Financial Planning, we work with clients in Essex who are alone, mainly due to divorce, separation, or bereavement.
