Stephen understands our needs and listens carefully to our preferences. He is reassuring about complicated procedures. He never tries to push a product or influence us beyond advice. He has been very sympathetic and a good friend in our difficult circumstances since my husband's Alzheimer's diagnosis.

Have you seen the outcome you were hoping for?

Needing help with care costs and helping with funds for grandchildren. Help from Stephen has been reassuring and secured the financial situation.

What could they have done better?

Sometimes I find the documentation a little confusing and need to know how to deal with summaries etc that arrive in the post, so could do with advice on keeping records perhaps, but I know I can ask about this when we have a meeting.

What were the circumstances that caused you to initially look for an adviser?

Company sale.

Stephen has always set aside time for myself and my wife to review our options on investments, we never feel rushed into decisions his advice Over the last 2 1/2 years has proven to be very beneficial to us. Advice in this field can be very daunting to the layman, but Stephen is prepared to bring it to our level with diagrams and sketches to explain it fully.

Have you seen the outcome you were hoping for?

We are still getting advice from Stephen and through both good and bad times with the markets we are still extremely happy with the advice that we are receiving.

What could they have done better?

Nothing really, Stephen makes investing more interesting,

I contacted Stephen because I was selling my business.

How has Stephen Ng helped you?

Stephen has been looking after my financial portfolio since selling my business in 2009, with twice yearly reviews which he always works around my diary no matter where I am. Over the years Stephen has provided me with excellent advise, always taking into consideration my likes/dislikes about certain financial products and provides me with alternative ideas. He's recently reviewed my various pensions and amalagmated them into one. Stephen always gives me great comfort in knowing my financial portfolio is save and on track for my retirement.

Yes, I am very happy with the return I have achieved on a number of my products.

We are very pleased with the service we have received from Stephen. His approach is undemanding and personable. He is not at all pushy, unlike some, and ensures his advice is relevant to our needs. Stephen has been very good at putting his advice into layman's terms and not baffling us with jargon! We would have no hesitation in recommending him to others.
