My partner uses Alex Turco so I was able to discuss these issues informally with him for a year or two before I made a decision. Once made Alex sat down with me and thoroughly assessed my finances. He then came back with an excellent plan and a forecast of what I could realistically expect. Once my house was sold everything was in place and I was able to transfer the money within a couple of days. All the way, Alex was able to answer all my concerns and offer really sound advice. It's been rather like dealing with an old friend. I also feel his charge was entirely reasonable given the time and work involved.

Outcomes are so impossible to predict, I would have liked greater growth from my investments and pension but we have had Brexit, Covid, cost of living crisis and more than one economic downturn that has meant smaller returns than I would have liked.
