What were the circumstances that caused you to initially look for an adviser?

As a result of my divorce l needed to appoint my own financial adviser.

How has Mark Turkington helped you?

Mark has guided me through all the aspects associated with my private pension. He is also handling my personal investment portfolio. His calm and sensible advice has been invaluable (particularly during these troubled times). Our annual in-person meeting is a reassuring opportunity to discuss matters in depth. I know, of course, that I can contact him at any time and will always receive a prompt and considered response. As I was approaching retirement I had a number of different pensions as well as funds in a consultancy company .

Mark advised me on consolidating the pensions and company funds into a combination of ISAs and a SIPP.

Have you seen the outcome you were hoping for?

Yes. There have of course been ups and downs in the market over the nearly 10 years but overall I am satisfied that the investments we have have provided better returns than I could have received elsewhere.

Nothing I can think of.

Transferring from a company pension to a private pension

Yes my investment grew over the years of investing and now is still growing whilst i enjoy my retirement withdraws wings Yes. My investment grew during the investment years and is still growing while i enjoy my retirement withdrawals.

What could they have done better?

Not very much I have been fully kept up-to date and always have an informative annual review of my investments and if any changes need to be made i am always fully advised. On that basis there is little extra to improve.

What were the circumstances that caused you to initially look for an adviser?

Our adviser retired and spent two years finding the right man to fill his shoes, which turn3d out to be Mark Turkington
