John is always available to answer any concerns I have with regard to my investments. I feel at ease when discussing plans and what I want from my investments which are continuing to grow. Annual review meetings are detailed and as a client can understand how my investments are working.

What were the circumstances that caused you to initially look for an adviser?

I wanted to plan for my retirement.

How has John Lyons helped you?

He has been my advisor for the past ten years after I was introduced to him by my accountant. Over the years he has advised, monitored and kept me informed of my ISA and pension investments. Now I am on the point of retiring he has worked with me to produce cash flow projections which I find most reassuring and useful. I also find it useful to discuss other aspects of my financial situation, such as investment properties and funding of future major purchases. John has a good sense of my attitudes and concerns, and has been proactive in suggesting alternative solutions to my own.

Have you seen the outcome you were hoping for?

Very much so. I feel very confident that my money has been well invested and I will have sufficient funds to fund the lifestyle in retirement for which I have always aimed.

What could they have done better?

Nothing I can be critical about.

Iy was difficult to find someone to help me at the time. John one of the few who were willing / able / qualified to help. Subsequently he has provided great advice and assurance that enabled my fund to grow and support me in retirement.

Obviously I'd like a bigger fund ( wouldn't anybody). However I'm not complaining. John has enabled me to take early retirement with an adequate income with a fund value that I thought would not be enough. Great job done.

Initially it was focused on mortgage, investment and pensions advice approximately 30 years ago. My previous advisor retired about 5 years ago at a about the same time that I myself retired so I needed to find a replacement.
