The original investment has done well. The new one, not so well yet due to the Donald Trump effect in investment shares.

It may have been better for us to put the money into higher interest earning savings accounts as a level of protection against loss while earning circa 4-5% interest until the market settles down.

I had not been as successful as I had hoped in investing my pension and, more particularly, actively monitoring those investments. I saw Janine's name in an article in the Times. She lives in Barnard Castle, as do I, so it was a no-brainer to seek her advice.
