My career in wealth management has felt like a fitting progression following more than a decade working as an Insurance Broker in the City of London and, prior to that, serving as an officer in the Army – all of these roles have required three crucial elements, which I hold as the core principles of my approach: attention to detail, communication and, most importantly, trust. I feel particularly passionate about helping individuals and families secure the resources they need in order to enable them to live the life they wish to lead. Whether its savings and investments, pensions and provision for later life, or tax and estate planning, I believe the key to giving people the right advice is to first listen carefully to their own objectives, ambitions and desires for themselves and their loved ones. One of my main areas of interest and expertise is in ‘intergenerational wealth transfer’, and I hope to continue to promote awareness that careful planning, financial protection and use of schemes such as Trusts can create considerable prosperity for the next generation. I take great pride and satisfaction in building and maintaining long term client relationships by repaying the trust put in me with sound advice, constant support and being someone to turn to in the event of any life change. When not at work, I like to keep active through cycling, rugby and running – I am always especially keen to take part in extreme physical challenges in order to raise funds and awareness for a variety of charities.
