What were the circumstances that caused you to initially look for an adviser?

I wanted to understand if my savings could be doing more for me and If I was doing the right thing!

He helped coach me on the principles of investing and I had a greater understanding of where I might be able to save better. He was a great help!

Yes I certainly have a better understanding of different products and how I can get a better return on my cash!

I was buying a house in London and needed a rather complex Mortgage. Tom also advised Insurance following this.

He was able to work very quickly to get me the mortgage I required.

What were the circumstances that caused you to initially look for an adviser?

I was looking for a financial advisor to help me with setting up a private pension as I'm self-employed and didn't have anything up and running. Tom and Scrivener Financial was recommended to me by a friend.

How has Tom Richardson helped you?

Tom has been great in actually explaining everything to me in detail, and finding the right pension plan for me. He's explained how it all works, how the money paid into the pension is invested in the funds, and regularly keeps me updated and informed on how things are going. We've also spoken about future financial plans and investments that I'm hoping to make later down the line. He's really taken the stress away from it all and taken the time to ensure I fully understand where the money is going, how it's doing and how the pension will work when I do come to retire.

Have you seen the outcome you were hoping for?

Yes, most definitely.

What could they have done better?

Nothing as far as I'm concerned - just keep delivering the same service as it's great!

I am a young adult looking to save money, I didn’t want to leave my capital in a savings account with interest rates being so low. So I looked to Tom to help me figure out a better way of saving money

Tom set me up in a stable Portfolio and educated me on stocks and shares.

I had built up some savings from employment and was recommended to Tom by a close friend.

How has Tom Richardson helped you?

He explored my options and built a plan around me. I had no idea the options available. I wish I had come to Tom a lot sooner, but was perhaps put off by friends/google saying to do your own investments. I had little experience and Tom made the options to me very manageable. The fees were negligible compared to the value I have received from Toms advice.

Have you seen the outcome you were hoping for?

Yes and feel more supported with the Life Insurance we also enacted.

What could they have done better?

Come to me 10 years ago and I would have a better pension and savings!

I wanted to invest in my future and provide protection should the worst happen

How has Tom Richardson helped you?

He sat down with me and my partner and very imformatively helped us through the whole process, finding the best solution for what we wanted

Have you seen the outcome you were hoping for?

We were very happy right from the get go, however it is still early days on the investment side of things. Everything looks really positive already though and Tom has been keeping us updated on its performance.

What could they have done better?

I really don't think there is much I see that can be improved on to be honest.
