Robert Hewitt

Robert qualified as a chartered accountant in 1979. He is a Fellow of the Association of Business Recovery Professionals and a qualified Insolvency Practitioner. Among his specialisms are:- •Advising and supporting new business start-ups including preparing the detailed Business plans and assisting with the fund raising. •Charities – both as a Trustee, advisor and reporting accountant to a wide range of charities, often with a Church bias. Robert can assist with setting up the appropriate corporate governance systems as well as assisting with strategy and financial matters. •Advisory: He has served as a director of both public and private companies – sometimes as non executive director or advisor. Again, he contributes to the strategic work of the Board as well as advising on the appropriate corporate governance and risk management required by all businesses. •As an Insolvency Practitioner, Robert often gets involved in complex Company Voluntary Arrangements featuring some business re-organisation with a view to maximising the value of the underlying business for the benefit of the various stake holders.
