What were the circumstances that caused you to initially look for an accountant?

I set up my business over 3 years ago. Adam was recommended to me via a mutual connection. From the very first instance, I was put at ease by his considerable depth of knowledge and advice.

How has Adam Rhodes helped you?

Adam and his team have been taking care of my personal tax and self assessment for a number of years and have always proven themselves to be very prompt (even when I was NOT), responsive to my needs and made the whole process stress free and with minimal input from me, saving me time AND money.

Have you seen the outcome you were hoping for?

The team helped me to completely understand my HMRC obligations and how to ensure that I had included everything I needed for the self assessment. They are also extremely helpful in advising me on various financial management aspects. Adam is friendly and approachable and is always happy to meet in person.

What could they have done better?

I honestly don't think that I could suggest any improvements

What were the circumstances that caused you to initially look for an accountant?

I tried to complete it myself and made a few mistakes which were calculating a large Tax bill. This was my first year of completing a self assessment.

How has Adam Rhodes helped you?

Reviewed what I had done and easily identified my mistakes. He then offered to complete the assessment on my behalf.

NOT YOUR AVERAGE ACCOUNTANT! Adam and I have been members of the same networking group for a couple of years now. We have worked together both directly and on joint client projects. He has a professional but very approachable personality and always manages to come up with an aspect of finances that neither me, nor the clients, would have thought of! I have referred him on multiple occasions and have always had excellent feedback and seen him develop into a 'trusted advisor' for all concerned.
