Our previous accountant was difficult to get hold off and did not provide the support we needed

You feel as though Hammond & Co. are on actually board with you as a business partner, rather than someone you see once a year to submit your accounts and then not hear from the rest of the time. I find them easy to get in touch with for any general queries I have and they always reply in good time. They are up to date and very knowledgeable with modern bookkeeping technologies/software and have helped me massively in setting up processes for the company I work for to streamline and automate my workload as much as possible, eliminating a lot of wasted time. The payroll team in particular have also been very helpful for me keeping my payroll and HR tasks as simple as possible. The new software they introduced (BrightPay) has made things like uploading payslips, holiday bookings and staff contracts much easier to manage. In summery I highly recommend Hammond & Co. to anyone who is on the fence about switching accountants because they feel they don’t get the entire support they need. You can trust these guys will get the job done and will surely make your business a better one that it currently is.

Bar far the most personable accountants I have ever used, running a business usually means you work very unsociable hours, I’ve personally called Steve from 6am to 7/8pm and had a response. Something which when your on site from 6/7am till 6/7pm is a true blessing. When I’ve spoken to Deon in accounts about various tasks his response is ‘I’ve already done it’ allowing myself to focus on my site work.
