Colin Davison

Colin Davison BSc ACA CertBA Colin began his ambition to become an accountant way back when he was just 13. Running a number of small businesses of his own from school age, he began work at Grant Thornton and continued to work with them whilst studying at college. In 1997 and as a Chartered Accountant finalist Colin ventured into a number of companies of varying sizes, from 'businesses dot com' to 'IBM'. His main focus was serving larger businesses and support as a commercial director for a number of smaller businesses including a motor retailer and many and smaller family based business. Cranleys Consulting Limited was formed in 1998 and Colin continued to assist many small companies in their business plans, personal taxes as well as corporate finances. Colin worked closely with IT companies, supporting them through recession period of 2000 and supporting property businesses in 2008 during the period of the credit crunch. Being a property investor, consultant and contractor, Colin specialises in looking after professional services and property investors.
